I ordered this bed frame along with the "IKEA Sultan Lade Slatted Bed Base for Full/double Size Beds." Remember to order both products or your bed will be incomplete. The order came in two separate boxes that were somewhat heavy, but relatively easy to get into the house. When I first opened the box, I was a little concerned as to whether the bed frame would hold an 11 inch deep memory foam mattress as well as my boyfriend and myself. The wood looks flimsy before you put it together. However, upon completion, the bed was extremely sturdy and amazing for the price. It took me about 1.5 hours to put the bed together by myself. I needed help from someone else for about 2 minutes just to connect the head board to the rest of the frame. The directions were very straight forward. One suggestion though: TAKE YOUR TIME when reading them. Each piece of the frame needs to be positioned right in order for the whole frame to fit together. I am a 5'2 tiny lady and found it extremely easy to assemble the bed frame. I would highly recommend this bed to anyone looking for an inexpensive but sturdy frame for a memory foam mattress.
