UPDATE: We have been using the bed and the matching headboard for 2+ years now, and we have not had any issue. The bed is really great and the drawers have not broken.
I just ordered this storage bed from Amazon and received 3 boxes. My boyfriend assembled most of it (I worked on the drawers) in about 2 hours.
The bed frame is really nice and you will not need a box-spring. The 6 drawers will give you lots of storage.
However, the sides are sharp so be careful when you make the bed!
