This bed is beautiful, really beautiful. It is very large and turned my bedroom from nice to wow! However, it is one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. There is a space at the top (and bottom) of the bed between my pillow top queen mattress and the frame so all the pillows fall into the gap. I have to either stuff the hole with blankets or sleep a few inches from the top to keep from ending up pillowless and destitute in the middle of the night. Also, forget sitting up in bed to watch tv, the wood logs hurt your back and pillows are (again) lost in the gap. I bought this bed because I thought it would really set off my decor, and it has, but I have regretted it ever since.
